Occupational Therapist
& Parent Coach
I knew I wanted to be in a helping profession from a young age and was fortunate enough to be introduced to the field of occupational therapy early on. I have been a pediatric occupational therapist for 13 years and have worked with children of all ages and their families in all settings. All of them being my favorite and shaping me into the therapist I am today.

My experiences so far in my career and personal life have led me to feel like there needs to be more support for families and more collaboration amongst professionals who support them as their children grow. In our field, children are referred to us when there is a challenge being faced, something that is disrupting their ability to access and perform the “occupations”, or daily meaningful tasks.

As a parent of two young children, facing my own challenges in my parenting journey has fed my belief that we all have questions and not enough access to evidence-based resources to support us on a personal level. Why should we have to wait until there is a problem to get those questions answered? Or when we do have concerns, there are often limitations present that don't always give us access to the professionals that could serve us best.
I am dedicated to taking a preventative care and holistic approach to guiding children and their families through the key stages of development, whether there are developmental delays present or a child is developing typically.

I truly believe that what sets parents and children up for success is empowering them, guiding them without judgement and with eternal optimism, as they make decisions for their family that they can feel confident about.
